A Clean Eating Reset

With or without large gatherings of family and friends of a typical holiday season, this year will still likely be full of the usual indulgences that start at Thanksgiving and end on New Year’s day. Pumpkin pie and sweet potato casserole, Christmas cookies and mashed potatoes with gravy, fried Hanukkah potato pancakes and jelly donuts, and plenty of wine and sugary cocktails will surely add a few more pounds to what we have already gained during the past 9 months of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, a few days or even weeks of avoiding alcohol, processed foods, added sugars, gluten, dairy, etc. is just the thing to reset your system and kickstart your weight loss and healthy living goals for the new year.

The word “detox” or “cleanse” brings to mind deprivation and glasses full of strange colored and smelling juice that will make you run away screaming (and hungry). But don’t worry — I’m not talking about that kind of kickstart. I’m talking about eating nutritious food. Actually, I prefer another term: a clean eating reset.

During this reset, you will focus on the foods you can eat versus the ones you can't. This program isn't about going all restrictive. It isn’t about counting calories, cutting carbs, drinking any magic potions, or taking laboratory-formulated supplements. Rather, it’s focused on removing common allergens and foods that may be weighing you down, and loading up on clean, whole foods. It’s about exploring new tastes, textures, and ingredients.

You will fill up your plate with the most nutrient-dense, colorful foods so there's no room for the ones you're trying to avoid.

Try the Swan Wellness Clean Eating Reset for a couple of days or weeks, and you’ll see how easy it can be. You’ll likely notice reduced digestive issues and bloating, improved energy, weight loss, controlled cravings, and a renewed commitment to your health and yourself. It’s just the thing you need to get 2021 off to a good start. Or why wait? Try it now, and end 2020 strong.
